By sustainable logistics, we mean that transport – in addition to being climate-efficient – is also safe, punctual and cost-effective, and that we take social, environmental and economic responsibility. We actively work to protect the environment and are constantly developing our procedures to minimise environmental impact. We monitor our consumption and choose fuels that are healthy for both the economy and the environment and work efficiently to fill our transport. We are always curious about new technologies that can reduce fossil emissions.

That is why we have invested a lot of time and energy in certifying different parts of our operations. We are a responsible logistics centre that wants to live up to the requirements that exist in terms of road safety, emissions and work environment. We comply with the laws, regulations and recommendations that apply to our operations. We are proud to announce that we are ISO certified in quality (ISO 9001) and environment (ISO 14001). This means that we are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact, improve our activities for an increased level of service and delivery reliability, and make it better for our employees in their working lives.

We have also been approved for Fair Transport. Fair Transport is the basis for sustainable business and the industry’s way of making sustainable transport visible. The latest challenge we have taken on is that of a fossil-free Sweden. Fossil-free Sweden challenges companies, organizations, municipalities and regions to implement concrete measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Miljöbyggnad – the key to sustainable community building.
Everyone wants to live and work safely and healthily. Miljöbyggnad is a Swedish environmental certification carried out by the Sweden Green Building Council that provides good environments to live, work and play in. By carefully checking the building with sixteen different indicators for energy use, indoor environment and materials, Miljöbyggnad ensures that the building you live in is good for you and for the environment. GP Last’s new facility has achieved Silver certification, which we are very proud of.
